Free & Open to the Public
Join us for the opening of Inside, our spring art exhibition featuring the work of Chicago-based French photographer Anaïd de Dieuleveult.
Across three photographic series produced between 2009 and 2024, de Dieuleveult explores the relationship between landscape, perception, and emotional experience. Moving between Paris, the Moroccan coast, and Chicago, the works gathered under the title Inside trace a gradual transformation in the role of color within the photographic image technique. Color first appears as a compositional accent, later expands into an atmospheric field, and ultimately emerges as a physical gesture applied directly onto the surface of the photograph.
Anaïd will speak about the collection, after which she’ll be in joined in conversation by French-American artist, independent curator, art dealer, and patron of the arts Tiphanie Babinet-Spencer.
After the artist talk, guests will have the opportunity to discover the exhibition, continue the conversation with the artist, and and mix and mingle with their fellow Francophiles and art enthusiasts over a complimentary glass of French wine.
Doors at 6:00 pm. Artist talk at 6:30. Please enter via 54 W Chicago Ave. Non-alcoholic options will be available.

Tiphanie is a French/American artist, independent curator, art dealer and patron of the arts.
Tiphanie founded Hana Pietri in 2021. The platform itself began as a salon in 2011 under the name The Arts Palette, evolved into an art production company partnering with cultural organizations like the Chicago Cultural Center, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Intuit: The Center for Intuitive and Outsider Art—to name a few—became an alternative exhibition space and is now a mix of it all. The model is constantly evolving, adapting and responding to artistic expression in ways that are creative and inclusive of many different opinions.
