Play: Lauren Gunderson's The Revolutionists

The Revolutionists will not be televised. It will be dramatized—by Violet Surprise Theatre, whose mission is to vibrantly validate the voices of women. Written by Lauren Gunderson and directed by Iris Sowlat, The Revolutionists is a hysterical and historical (or, more accurately, herstorical) play that invites audiences to experience the French Revolution from a female perspectivce.

C’est la soirée! Prepare for a night filled with entertainment, delicious fare, and games. Our DJ will have you dancing to trendy, current French artists and French music. Once you’ve had your fill of the dance floor, come learn some French words and phrases that will surely enthrall the adults in the room.

Bastille Day Afternoon Event

We invite you and your whole family, from oldest to youngest, to celebrate Bastille Day at the Alliance with us this year! From bubbles and balloons to cookie decorating, arts and crafts, and more, we’ve got lots of activities for children to enjoy. Adults can enjoy rosé while our guest accordionist strolls through our festive courtyard! Whether your young Francophiles like to rip and run or play at a slower pace, they’re bound to have fun with us at the Alliance this summer holiday!
